Services & pricing

Two options. Straight prices.

SEO and web design for tradesmen, priced for a small firm. Improve the website you already have for £200 + VAT a month (first month half price), or get a new custom-coded site for £1,000 + VAT. Either way it starts with a free breakdown, so you know exactly what you're paying for.

Step one, free

The free website breakdown

Before you spend anything, we look at your website and your Google rankings and send you a plain-English breakdown.

  • Where you show up on Google for the jobs you want, town by town
  • Who's appearing above you, and why
  • What's holding your website back, in order of importance
  • Your Google Business Profile, checked against the firms in the map

We check twenty searches by hand: your main town, each service in that town, the towns around it and your county. For each one you get your position, who holds the top three and who is in the map. Then we measure your site against the firms beating you, because "good" only means matching them.

To give you an idea of the bar: in the Kent towns we checked in October 2026, the three roofing sites holding page one had on average 1,150 to 3,600 words on the homepage, 40 to 80 pages, and 11 to 43 pages for individual towns. In one town of 52 roofing companies, 32 had a website and 2 were on page one.

It's yours to keep, whether or not you work with us.

  • Google Business Profile set up properly and kept active

How the months build up

An example. Your actual order comes from your free breakdown, with the biggest wins first.

Month 1Google set up properly, page titles and headings fixed, Business Profile cleaned up
Month 2Business details coded for Google, tap-to-call and contact fixes, review system
Month 3Your first town page, built to rank
Month 4The next town or service page
Month 5+A new page every month, Business Profile kept active, ranking report

What "fixed in phases" actually means

Month one is the cheap, fast wins that most trade sites are missing. The Google headline (the page title) rewritten to name your trade and your town, under 65 characters so it is not cut off. A description under every listing, because a page with none gets far fewer clicks even when it ranks. One clear heading per page that says what you do and where. Google Search Console connected so the numbers are yours. Your Business Profile checked: the right category, your services listed, the same phone number everywhere.

Month two is the plumbing. Your business name, address, phone, services and areas coded into the page in the format Google and AI assistants read directly. Tap-to-call and a WhatsApp link on mobile, where most of your customers are. A simple review request link you can text to a customer when a job finishes well.

From month three, one new page a month, properly built: a town you want work from, or a service you want more of. Each one is 1,500 words or more of real local detail, with the questions customers ask answered on the page and coded so they can show directly in search results. Never the same text with the town name swapped, because Google filters those out and we have watched it happen.

Google Business Profile, kept active

For a roofer, builder or electrician the map at the top of Google generates more calls than the links below it, and it is won by a handful of things: the right categories, reviews that keep arriving, photos of real jobs, and a post now and then. We keep yours active with a monthly post naming a town and a service, reply to reviews in your name if you want us to, and tell you when it is time to ask a customer for one. The profile stays in your name.

The monthly report

One page, plain English. Where you rank for your twenty searches this month and last, what moved, what we changed, and what next month holds. If a number goes the wrong way we say so and why. All of it is in your own Search Console, so you can check it any time without asking us.

Who the monthly plan suits

  • A roofer, builder, scaffolder, electrician, plumber, decorator or landscaper working a few towns
  • You already have a website, on any platform, and it is not bringing in work
  • You are paying a directory per lead and would rather the enquiries came to you directly
  • You want to see what you are paying for every month and be free to stop

Who it does not suit

  • ×A national company competing in every city at once; that needs a bigger budget than ours
  • ×Anyone who wants a guarantee of number one; nobody honest offers that
  • ×Online shops; we only do trade and construction

Launch offer: first month 50% off, £100 + VAT, then £200 + VAT a month. No contract.

What's included

  • Up to 5 pages, custom-designed for your business
  • Hand-coded, not a template or page builder, so it loads fast
  • Works perfectly on phones
  • Written for your trade and your towns, set up for Google from day one
  • Enquiry form that sends straight to your email
  • We set up the hosting in your name, and you own the site outright

Extra pages are £200 + VAT each. Hosting is paid by you, directly to your hosting company.

One-off

New custom website

£1,000 + VAT

Up to 5 pages. Extra pages £200 + VAT each.

For firms whose current site is too old, too small or too slow to fix. A clean, fast website built from scratch around the work you want more of.

The five pages are usually home, services, areas we cover, about and contact, each written for your trade and your towns rather than filled with stock text. Every page carries your business details coded for Google, a title and description that name the trade and the place, real job photos with descriptions Google can read, tap-to-call, WhatsApp and a short enquiry form that lands in your inbox.

Custom-coded means no page builder, no plugins to update and nothing that slows it down. The site is a set of plain files on hosting in your name, which is why it loads fast on a phone on site and why nothing breaks when a plugin stops being supported. Built in two to three weeks from your photos and details, invoiced 50% to start and 50% when you are happy.

A website is the start, not the finish. Google rewards sites that keep growing, so we always recommend pairing a new site with the monthly plan to keep it climbing.

How we work

What we will never do

Plenty of SEO firms get quick results that vanish, or get your site penalised. We don't work that way.

  • ×Tie you into a 12-month contract
  • ×Buy links from link farms or private networks
  • ×Post fake reviews, or write any for you
  • ×Fill your site with copy-and-paste town pages
  • ×Hold your website or your Google account hostage if you leave
  • ×Promise you number one on Google
Questions

Pricing questions

Is there a contract?

No. The monthly plan is £200 + VAT a month with no minimum term, and the first month is half price at £100 + VAT. Cancel whenever you like and everything we've built on your site stays yours.

Is £200 a month enough for SEO for a roofer or builder?

For a local trade business competing in a handful of towns, yes. The work that moves a trade site is specific and repeatable: fix the titles and descriptions, code the business details, build one properly written town or service page a month, keep the Business Profile active and report. It does not need a team or a retainer of £800 a month.

Who pays for hosting?

You do, directly to your hosting company, so the account and the website are always in your name. We set it up for you. For a site like this it's typically a few pounds a month.

Do I have to switch to a new website?

Usually not. Most firms start on the monthly plan and we upgrade their existing site step by step, whether it's WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or GoDaddy. If it genuinely can't be fixed, your free breakdown will say so.

What does an extra page cost on a new website?

The £1,000 + VAT website includes up to 5 pages. Each additional page is £200 + VAT, for example a page for another town or another service.

How do I pay?

The monthly plan is paid by card through Stripe, automatically each month, and you can cancel any time. New websites are invoiced: 50% to start and 50% when the site is finished and you're happy with it. Everything is through Imadoer Ltd, a UK VAT-registered limited company.

How long until I see results?

Title and description fixes show in Google within days. New town and service pages are usually indexed within a week or two and, on our own sites, specific pages have reached the top 10 within four days. Positions for the bigger searches build over two to three months, and every monthly report shows where you've moved.

What do you need from me to start?

Manager access to your Google Business Profile, Search Console and website for benstead.keagan@imadoer.co.uk (never a password), the towns and services you want more work from, and a few real job photos. We send a short onboarding form that walks through each one.

Not sure which you need?

Start with the free breakdown. It'll show whether your current site can be fixed or needs replacing, before you spend a penny.
