About Imadoer

Construction people who do SEO.

Not a marketing agency that also takes on builders. Imadoer does SEO and websites only for trade and construction businesses, because that is the world we come from and the only one we claim to understand.

Our story

Why Imadoer exists

We started by fixing our own problem. Our construction businesses had good work, good reviews and websites that Google barely showed.

One of them, a renovation contractor, had a seven-page website that ranked for its own name and nothing else. In the week before we rebuilt it, Google showed it 18 times and one person clicked. The other, a scaffolding company with more than forty five-star reviews, was being shown for towns a hundred miles outside the area it covers while sitting on page two and three for its own county.

So we taught ourselves what actually moves a trade business up Google, and tested it on those two firms first. Not by reading marketing blogs, but by changing one thing at a time and watching Google Search Console to see what happened. Some of it worked straight away. Some of it did nothing. We kept what worked.

The renovation contractor went from an average Google position of 63 to 27.9 over the following two months, with its best week at 21.7. New pages written the right way reached Google's top ten within four days. The scaffolding firm went from 13 to 16 of its 25 tracked Oxfordshire searches on page one, and six days after we coded its business details for Google and AI assistants, a homeowner in Beaconsfield rang because ChatGPT had recommended it.

Then we looked at other trade websites and noticed most of them have the same handful of problems. No pages for the towns they work in. A Google headline that does not say what they do or where. A Business Profile nobody has touched since it was set up. Content so thin Google has nothing to rank. Those problems are fixable, and you do not need a big agency on a twelve-month contract to fix them.

Imadoer is that fix, offered to other trades at a price that makes sense for a small firm: £200 + VAT a month, no contract, first month half price.

Keagan Benstead, founder of Imadoer
Who's behind it

Keagan Benstead, founder

Keagan has a degree in Project Management and a career in construction project management and estimating. He trained in UK Tier 1 contracting before moving on to run his own construction businesses, a renovation contractor and a scaffolding company, which is where the SEO started.

Estimating is a useful background for this work. An estimator's job is to measure what is actually there, price it honestly and say clearly what is excluded. That is how we approach a website: we measure where you rank for the searches that matter, show you who is above you and why, and tell you what we can and cannot do about it.

It also means every page we write comes from someone who has priced extensions, programmed fit-outs, dealt with building control and taken the call from the customer whose job overran. We write about your trade the way you would describe it, not the way a copywriter imagines it.

Keagan does the work himself. There are no account managers between you and the person changing your website.

The two businesses that produced the results on this site are his own. Benstead Construction is a renovation contractor whose website went from seven pages to more than a hundred and thirty, each one written for a specific community, service or approval. Ox Scaffold is an Oxfordshire scaffolding company whose existing site was repaired, deepened and coded for Google and AI assistants without being rebuilt. One is a new site, one is an upgrade, which is exactly the choice every trade business faces, and it is why Imadoer offers both.

How we work

Measure, fix, build, report

1. Measure first

Before we change anything we find out where you actually stand. We check twenty searches for your trade and your towns, record who holds page one and the map pack, and audit your site against the firms that are beating you: how much they have written, how many pages they have, how many towns they cover, whether their business details are coded for Google. That is the free breakdown, and you get it whether or not you hire us.

2. Fix what is broken

Most trade sites lose work to a short list of faults: a page title that does not name the trade or the town, no description under the Google listing, a homepage with a few hundred words, business details Google cannot read, a Business Profile with the wrong category or no services. These come first because they are cheap to fix and they move things quickly.

3. Build what is missing

Then we build the pages you do not have. A page for each town you want work from. A page for each service you want more of. Written properly, with real local detail and the questions customers ask, because Google filters out pages that are the same text with the town name swapped. We learned that one the hard way on our own sites.

4. Report every month

Every month you get a plain-English report: where you rank for your twenty searches, what changed, what we did and what is next. Everything is in your own Google Search Console, so you can check it without us. You stay because the numbers are moving, not because you signed something.

What you can expect

Three things we hold ourselves to

Straight talking

Plain English, no jargon and no inflated promises. If your website is fine, we will tell you. If it needs replacing, we will tell you that too, before you spend anything.

Earn it monthly

No contracts and no exit fees. We know we have to show you results every month to keep your business, and we like it that way.

It's yours

Your website, your hosting, your Google Business Profile and your Search Console stay in your name. If you leave, you take everything with you and nothing stops working.

What we are not

A few things to be clear about

We are not a lead-generation site. We do not sell your enquiries back to you. The customers who find you through your website are yours.

We are not a big agency. One person does the work, a few firms at a time. That is why the price is £200 + VAT a month and not £800, and why you will always be talking to the person who knows your site.

We do not promise page one. Nobody honest can. What we promise is that the work is done properly, that you can see every change, and that you are free to leave the month it stops being worth it.

We do not cut corners Google punishes. No bought links, no fake reviews, no copy-and-paste town pages. Those tricks get quick results that disappear and can get a site removed from Google altogether.

Questions

About Imadoer

Is Imadoer a marketing agency?

No. Imadoer is run by construction people who learned SEO to fix their own businesses' websites, then offered the same work to other trades. We only take on trade and construction firms.

Who actually does the work on my website?

Keagan Benstead, the founder, with a small amount of software to speed up the checking and reporting. There are no account managers and nothing is passed offshore.

Have you done this for real businesses?

Yes, on two construction businesses we run: Benstead Construction in Dubai and Ox Scaffold in Oxfordshire. The results, with the Search Console figures, are on our results page.

Where are you based and where do you work?

Imadoer Ltd is registered in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. The work is done remotely, so we take on trade businesses anywhere in the UK. Our first website reviews have gone to roofers across Kent.

Why only trades and construction?

Because that is the industry we come from. We know how a roofer, builder or scaffolder gets work, what their customers worry about and what a good job looks like, so the pages we write ring true to the people reading them.

Company details: Imadoer Limited, company number 10020807, incorporated 23 February 2016, registered in England and Wales.
